on Laser Astrodynamics, Space Test of Relativity
and Gravitational-Wave Astronomy

Sponsored by: National Astronomical Observatories CAS (NAOCAS,
Beijing);
Center for Gravitation and Cosmology (CGC, Hsinchu). This conference
consists of two parts. The first part is in the form of school
(Sept. 13-19) mainly for young people who are becoming interested in
these topics. The second part is the symposium (Sept. 20-23).
Language for the School and Symposium is English.
Principal Topics:
- Astrodynamics, ephemeris, and mission orbit design/simulation;
- Solar seismology and solar models;
- Tests and empirical foundations of relativistic gravity;
- Detection of gravitational waves and gravitational-wave astronomy;
- Technological development for space laser ranging;
- ASTROD mission concept study.
