The amplifier is used for driving piezo stack actuator with DC coupled output, gain=100, and a maximum output voltage of 150V. There are two stages of amplifications: OP amp as a preamp, then a MOSFET (IRF630) following to reach high voltage. Finally, the output is buffered using a IRF630. Adjusting the 50k potentiometer (R11) can varying the output DC offset. Since it is for laboratory use, there is no any kind of protection circuit, it is important not to cable this amp with power on. | |||

Our lockin amplifier is based on AD630 multiplier, and cmos PPL 4046 as phase shifter. We have compared its noise with commerical scitec lock-in. The result is very good. We have built several boxes used in spectroscopy, and signal demodulation. All of lock-ins installed in our experiments is home-made. Those commerical products are borrowed and for test only. The circuit and pcb layout of phase shfter in Eagle format is availible, the circuit and pcb layout of main board, too. | ||||
