Prof. Daw-Wei Wang got his Ph.D in physics in University of Maryland (College Park), USA, in 2000. He is a condensed matter theorist mainly working on strongly correlated physics in the systems of ultracold atoms/molecules. He got several national research awards for his contribution in theoretical physics (see his school website below). After 2018, he decided to study Artificial Intelligence (or Machine Learning) and to use it to explore the interdisciplinary researches.
