Taiwan-Japan International workshop
on Spectroscopy and Surface Science
National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan
December 3 -4, 2013
Surface and Interfaces are rich in physics and of vital importance in new technologies. Spectroscopic techniques, e.g, synchrotron-based ones, are increasingly being used to shed light on the physics of surface and interfaces. As a result, surface science is an important area of research worldwide, in Japan and Taiwan as well.
The scopes of the workshop cover topics such as Organic semiconductors and thin films, Surfaces and interfaces, Spintronics, synchrotron-based spectroscopies as well novel optic techniques for spectroscopy. Distinguished guests from Chiba University and Fukui Universities of Japan as well local scholars will present the latest advances in this important field. It is hoped that further collaboration and exchanges would be possible among faculty and students of Japan and Taiwan following the workshop.
The organizing committee cordially invites all of you who are interested in this general field to participate and enjoy the excitement and fun of the 2013 Taiwan-Japan International Workshop on Spectroscopy and Surface Science in Hsinchu.
